Changing Databases/Rosters: starting from scratch

Post by NorthernSanta » Wed Sep 15, 2004 12:23 am

I'd like to inquire what the best steps are for making changes to your default roster. (or last updated EA Sports roster; March)

What steps would be the best way to go if a person wanted to make changes that will work properly without using someone else's database?

Should I first create a player inside the game, then use NHL View to fine-tune the player or is it just as easy to create the player(s) with NHL View? (I already made an attempt to make changes to a team roster in what I thought was the main database... & the changes only showed up with NHL View & not in the game)

If I would like changes to be permanent & have a new season or dynasty begin with the changes that I've made... which database should these changes be made on?

I'm aware of other people's efforts & changes regarding databases & roster updates etc., I'd just like to try this on my own & see how it goes.

Thank you in advance for any help/advice. :D
