Hello,
I'm Paul, from France. I use NHLView often and that's really a great tool.
But I think that it should be working in importation also....
I explain....from NHLView you can generate an ecel sheet which enables to sort easily the players and so on.....but would it be possible to go reverse and from a xls file (of course at the good format, same from exported by NHLView) import it into NHLView and then save it to NHL roster....

For example it can be usefull for modified player in order to enter the stats of the past years....

I'm using C++ and don't know VB or delphi but I will try to get on it ....has anyone got some code (VB or delphi) to show me in order to start easily ??

Thanks for reading me, hope I get some answers...

Why donĀ“t you use C++, when you are experienced in it?

Btw. if you want to work with something like VB or Delphi, choose C++ Builder - it's "Delphi with C++ syntax"... both from Borland

Yes, this idea has been suggested several times. It's a very powerful feature I agree, but it's not a very easy one to implement. I'm not ready to start working on it.

If you can make a separate utility that's fine but i simple have no time/interest at the moment to work on it.

To answer your other question, I'm using Delphi because I like Pascal more as a language than C++. And i'm using BDS2006 which has both C++Builder and Delphi in one IDE. I just prefer Pascal as a language. I'm also far from experienced in C++. I know the language, but not nearly as much as Delphi.
