Will it be possible to, using NHLView NG, transfer rosters between different installments of the series (eg. NHL 13 rosters to NHL 14) on Xbox 360?

It's a request I received from several people, unfortunately I have to put it in the pipeline for now. The initial release will have basic editing and transfers. In second release I plan to mostly fix bugs and add more fields, such as equipment and custom faces. And only starting with v3 I will start to add features that are not directly related to data stored in the rosters. I will post the to-do list in development update section eventually.

Thanks in advance for your great work with this editor. Have followed the development for years now and glad to see it's finally going to see it's daylight. Is there any preparatory schedule for the release date of this editor? I desperately want it asap:)

Hi Artem !

I almost checked this page 10 times a day since last week just to not miss the release. I know that you don't like this question. But can you give us a timeframe for the release ? Will it be in two days, two weeks ? Approximately ?

Thanks you very much !!

Rule #1 don't talk about fight club.....

May wanna peruse the "rules" section of the forum, I believe it states he isn't going to answer questions about when. Just have to be patient guys.

dougie_g, I tried to use the roster editor to view the NHL 11 roster file. I wanna look at face IDs of specific past players, but I couldn't get it to work. I got the NHL 12 file to work, but not 11. Any tips? Thanks man.

Well, you need to extract the .db from the roster file. I know we can do it for 13 and 14, haven't tried anything earlier than that. Have you tried extracting it with DPyro's tool?

I followed your instructions on non-NHL 13/14 files. Used xtaf to extract, then Horizon to extract, then DPyro to extract. But it doesn't want to create a config. That whole process worked for the NHL 12 file.

Would you have a list of face IDs from NHL 11, those that aren't in 12 onwards? I'm using some old faces to replace key players' generic ones for NHL 14. Appreciate it!

It would have probably been released by now if I wasn't swarmed this week, that's how close I am. Didn't have a chance to work on it at all since the weekend.

Does it exist a way actually to take a look at the roster DB and hidden players list ? I tried with the TDB but the only thing I got is the players ID #, no names. I know that there is a tool on operation sports (the DB patcher) but it doesn't work for me. If you got this file, is it possible to have it now ?

THanks
